Carlton Park Surf Lifesaving Club is located at beautiful Carlton Beach, just 35 minutes drive from Hobart’s CBD. Carlton Park has a large and active membership with a strong family focus. Saving and protecting lives is their core business. They provide lifesaving services for the Southern Beaches area throughout the summer months of December to March from 11am to 4pm on weekends and public holidays. Their members also provide water safety activities at other selected events.

At Carlton Park there is a strong focus on providing a supportive environment for their junior members, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge to be safe and confident in the surf. The Clubs Nipper program is particularly popular with children aged from 5 to 15 years and attracts young families from across the greater Hobart area.

Many of the senior members of the club choose to compete in surf lifesaving competitions both to maintain fitness and for the social benefits that the surf lifesaving movement offers.
