$1.6 Million For Mental Health Group

Mental health organisation Rural Alive and Well has been awarded $1.6 million of funding from Tasmania’s Government.

CEO Lee Whiteley has thanked the government as it delivers the Tasmanian Suicide Prevention Strategy.

“Last financial year we worked face to face in the community with 631 people and on average we work with those people for 239 days and then we would have interactions with about 23,000 people over that same period as we’re out in the community running these kind of community engagement events and having these conversations.”
