FX has unveiled a new teaser for its upcoming series Alien: Earth to mark Alien Day, celebrated annually on April 26. The teaser offers a glimpse into the series’ premise, where a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, leading a young woman and a group of tactical soldiers to confront a formidable extraterrestrial threat. As they search the wreckage, they encounter predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have imagined.
The teaser hints at the presence of “five different lifeforms from the darkest corners of the universe,” each unique and deadly. This suggests the series will introduce new alien species alongside the iconic Xenomorphs. A compilation of various gestational teasers released throughout the week has also been made available, providing fans with a deeper look into the series’ eerie atmosphere.
Alien: Earth marks the franchise’s first foray into television, with a cast led by Sydney Chandler, alongside Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, and others. The series is set to premiere on FX on Hulu later this summer.
