In a chat with Entertainment Tonight, Star of Scrubs Zach Braff said, “I’m gonna share something that might surprise you.”

“Scrubs is actually a Disney show. Bill (Lawrence, the creator) has a deal with Warner Bros. Once those two companies figure it out, I think people will finally get what they want.”

He’s optimistic, saying, “I think it’s gonna happen.”

Braff starred in the beloved medical comedy alongside Judy Reyes, Neil Flynn, Sarah Chalke, Ken Jenkins, Donald Faison, John C. McGinley and he’s kept in touch with almost all of his co-stars.

He shared, “It would be a blast to get everyone back together. We all still hang out! A lot of people say that about long-running shows, but it’s true. I was just on vacation with Sarah, and I’m hitting the beach with Bill next weekend. We’re all friends.”

However, Braff admitted he felt “exhausted” by the end of his time on Scrubs. He loved being part of the show, but it definitely took a toll on him.

On the Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum podcast, he said, “I miss laughing every day. Belly laughing was the best part of the job. But by the end of those nine years, we were all pretty worn out.”

He also noted that he “didn’t really have much of a life outside of the show.”

He explained, “We started repeating jokes. Everyone was pretty fried. We were putting in crazy hours that people just don’t do anymore. Our lives were pretty much all about the show, so yeah, we were just kind of spent.”
